Analysis of a Piping System with Head Losses   (19:13)
The pumping power of an industrial piping system is estimated using the general energy equation. The problem includes the calculation of head losses (Darcy friction factor) in the pipe using the Moody Diagram. This includes the minor head losses caused by valves, pipe fittings and the pipe inlet and discharge.
